1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern access to Safarplan, use of its features and bookings made through the platform. By using Safarplan, you agree to these terms and to the specific conditions shown before your booking is confirmed.

If a supplier-specific condition differs from a general rule stated here, the specific condition clearly disclosed during booking applies to the relevant service.

2. Safarplan’s role

Safarplan provides an interface for searching, comparing and booking travel services offered by airlines, accommodation providers, distributors and other partners. The supplier identified in the offer remains responsible for delivering the travel service it provides.

Safarplan facilitates the transmission of your booking, payment where applicable and follow-up of your file. Availability, schedules, categories, facilities and some conditions are supplied by third parties and may change.

3. Access, account and information supplied

You must have the legal capacity required to make a booking and provide accurate, complete and current information. Traveller names must match the travel documents that will be used. You are responsible for protecting your login details and for activity carried out through your account.

Safarplan may pause a transaction or request additional verification where there is a reasonable concern regarding identity, payment, security or the lawful nature of a booking.

4. Search, price and availability

Results depend on your search criteria, real-time availability and the parameters of each offer. A price displayed during search is guaranteed only after the final verification and booking confirmation.

Before payment, Safarplan displays the available total price, currency, identified taxes and fees, and the main fare conditions. Local charges or amounts payable directly to the supplier may remain due where they are disclosed in the offer.

5. Booking and confirmation

A request is finally accepted only after successful payment, supplier approval where required and issue of a confirmation containing a booking reference. If the offer fails or expires, no booking is guaranteed.

You must promptly check the names, dates, destination, service and conditions shown in the confirmation and report any discrepancy without delay.

6. Payment and currency

Payment is processed by Safarplan or by the secure payment provider identified during checkout. Your bank may apply its own fees, exchange rate or controls. A payment authorisation may appear temporarily before the final charge or may be released if the booking is not completed.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method. Fraud, abusive disputes or unauthorised use may lead to suspension of the file and appropriate verification.

7. Changes, cancellation and no-show

Change and cancellation options depend on the fare and supplier. Penalties, fare differences and applicable fees are displayed before booking or when a change is requested. A non-refundable fare may not qualify for any refund.

A no-show, missed departure, late check-in or failure to use part of a trip may cause the remaining services to be cancelled under the supplier’s rules. See our Refund Policy.

8. Traveller responsibilities

You are responsible for checking passports, visas, permits, health requirements, entry rules and check-in deadlines for every traveller and every part of the journey. Safarplan does not replace the competent authorities, and general information on the platform is not a guarantee of admission.

You must comply with the supplier’s safety, baggage, conduct and usage rules.

9. Prohibited use

You may not bypass security measures, extract data at scale, use unauthorised robots, disrupt the service, impersonate another person, publish unlawful content or use Safarplan fraudulently. Content, trademarks, interfaces and databases remain protected by applicable rights.

10. Service continuity and liability

Safarplan uses reasonable measures to maintain the availability and accuracy of the platform. Interruptions, maintenance or errors originating from a supplier or third-party service may nevertheless occur.

To the extent permitted by law, Safarplan’s liability is assessed according to its actual role in the booking and does not cover consequences attributable to the traveller, the supplier or an external event. Nothing in these terms limits a mandatory consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Exceptional events

Where an event beyond the parties’ reasonable control occurs — including an official restriction, disaster, conflict, strike, major disruption or external technical incident — the available remedies depend on the supplier’s rules and applicable law.

12. Personal data and cookies

Our use of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Tracking technologies are explained in the Cookie Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

Safarplan may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, suppliers or regulation. The version published when a booking is made applies to that file, subject to mandatory rules.

14. Support and complaints

For a question or complaint, use the contact details in your confirmation or the Safarplan help centre. Include your booking reference and relevant information so that the request can be handled efficiently.

Mandatory consumer-protection rules and remedies available under applicable law remain fully available.
